NSSW is the only academic institute in Nepal having Australian volunteer for international development from year 2013. Every year, social worker from Australia supports NSSW with their skills and training in social work practice, education and research.

NSSW is the evaluation and monitoring partner of the School of Human Services and Social Work, Griffith University, Australia in Impact study of Sanrakhchan project.

NSSW has a collaborative program with the Departement of Behaviour Science of Central University of Karnataka from 2014.The students of NSSW are now eligible to enroll in the MSW program of CUK as per University requirement. The students exchange program is being run from 2014 as the exchange of students camps.

NSSW has its MOU from its college kadambari memorial college of science and management with Nihon Fukushi University, Japan for research and students exchange program. Every year students from Japan are coming to NSSW to conduct research in Nepal and share their experience.
