Fr. P T Augustine Resource Centre

NSSW has a resource  centre named after Fr. P. T. Augustine, S.J.  who is instrumental to offer collaboration between Kadambari Memorial College and St. Xavier College to strengthen social work education and to begin master program on Social Work at Purbanchal University, for the first time in the country. Honoring his effort for collaboration of institutions to create synergy, th centre is named as Father P. T. Augustine Resource Centre. 

Within the short span of time, the Resource centre hosts a rich collection of more than 2000 books, reports, training manuals, readers and other reports. In addition, the centre has a collection of CD-ROMs, video cassettes, journal titles, newsletters and audio cassettes. The library is open to others interested social workers. 

Development Discussion Series

The Resource Center hosts discussions on selected development issues. It aims to conduct foundation day lecture once in a year inviting prominent academics, practitioners from social work field. The Development Discussion Lecture Series is an initiative to provide a forum to students, faculty, and practitioners to interact with each other in an open learning environment.
