Community Engagement

Community Engagement Programs are Nepal School of Social work's recent approach to experience, experiment and learn from people and community: Crafting College and Community Engagement

The vision of Nepal School of Social work is to nurture the young people as professional social workers to craft a just society. Nepal is going through a series of transitions in its political establishment, especially due to the post conflict scenario. The need for trained and committed human resources is the need of the hour.

The nature of each student is different, so is their potential. Being a proactive school of social work, NSSW believes in creating a learning environment in which each individual will educate oneself with his/her own pace ,spirit and potential. Students are encouraged to experiment, experience and innovate their own approaches. For that, NSSW since its inception in 2005 has been creating learning platforms where social work students can learn from not only classroom teaching but from their peers, family members and community.
